Hooray for the Red, White, and Blue!

I love holidays (except Memorial day sad) b/c we get to celebrate them with family. The 4th of July is on the top of my list of favorite holidays. On Saturday we headed over to Jonathan's mom's house and got my bike out stuck my red, white, and blue streamers and hooked up the bike trailer. While we were setting this up the boys played in a little pool in the front yard while my motherin-law watched them. The pool was a big hit with the boys even though Kai took a dive into the pool while trying to reach for something! After the pool we got them in the trailer and I took them around the neighorhood since the streets were blocked off. It was really nice lots of people riding their bikes, playing games, playing music, cooking, laughing, singing, and just having a great time. The boys loved the bike ride so much Kai fell asleep lol! We came home, had dinner, then headed over to Fullerton High School's field to listen to some live music. We usually stick around to watch the firework show from there, but decided to watch them from my mother-in-laws front yard. Nainoa loved the fireworks and Kai fell asleep during the show. What a great way to end a fun filled day with an awesome firework show.

Having fun while Nana keeps an eye on the boys.

Coming back from a ride around the block.

Kai napping.

Live band was good.

Nainoa ad daddy listening to the band play.

Kai about to guide the 4th of July plane for a landing.

Nothing says summer like Hoy's Saltwater sandals from Nordy's. Love these classic sandals. Nainoa is on is second pair and Kai is on his first. I didn't know they made them so small. They even make them in adult sizes. These are truly awesome leather sandals you can get them wet and they won't get ruined.

Lady Liberty having fun! Check out her toes lol!

  1. Ooh! I love your bike trailer! I bet the boys love the wind whooshing by them when they're in it too!
