Little Miss Cutie Patootie

So I've been lagging in getting some of my crafty stuff up, but I'm finally getting to them. Here are a few things I've made so far! I really enjoy making these, but there never seems to be enough time! My littlest one tagged along with me when I took some pictures and he couldn't keep his hands off the stuff he liked them so much LOL!

July

I love the 4th of July it's always fun to spend time with the family and do something fun. We went to a park in Brea (can't think of the name right now) and check out their car show, let the kids play, and listen to some live music while we're there. Boy was it hot! It seems like Summer was waiting for the 4th to really turn up the heat on us! We had a great time at the park and later on that day we headed over to Patrice and Joe's house. We hung out had some great food and let the kids swim for a bit before going over to a park in Yorba Linda to watch a fire work show. Kai's birthday is on the 11th of July and so we took him to Splash in la Mirada. This place is so neat we left the camera at home worried it would get ruined. So I don't have any photos, but this is a neat place to take little ones. There's a spray ground area, there's a lazy river, a little island with about a foot deep of water with a slide, water bucket, etc in the center of the wading pool. There are life guards everywhere and the little ones are required to wear a life preserver.

Busy June

So I'm playing catch up again. Summer I have to say is always the busiest season for us! It's nice for the kiddos, but oh so tiring for this mama! June was busy with Nainoa's school closing program & graduation, my cousin Shayla's graduating from the Police Academy (and party), Nainoa's birthday, Nainoa's friends birthday party, and my brother Jason's birthday party. Whoa I'm tired just thinking about all we did that month!

Flashback to the Month of May

We've been pretty busy this Summer with swim lessons, tee ball, preschool, and and other fun Summer stuff that I forgot to put up some pictures of May. Nainoa graduated from Pre-School it was so cute seeing him sing up there with his friends. They had a closing program at the school and his class did the months of the year. He was March and was a kit flyer and did a great job flying his kite on stage. The next day there was a graduation ceremony for the kids and Nainoa insisted that he wear his tie! I guess he knew it was an important day LOL! I can't believe he will be in Kindergarten in the Fall! I wasn't sure if I wanted him to go to Pre-School b/c I was staying home with them, but now I'm so glad he did. It makes my heart melt when he talks about his friends, teacher, and God! Yes God Nainoa's my little thinker. Love how he talks about God and loves us to read stories from the Bible!

Oh That Crafty Itch!

I love love love doing crafts and have been toying with the idea of making something I can sell at craft fairs and Etsy for a while now. My friend Wendy opened up an Etsy shop (Cutie Popper) and that got me thinking some more of what I'd love to make and sell. So as much as I would love to have a little girl it doesn't seem like that's ever going to happen so I figured maybe I can make cute girly bows, headbands and what not to get my girl fix LOL! I really enjoy looking at cute girls clothes and hair bows. I've still have supplies coming so I hope to get more stuff on the site soon. I've made a few hair bows and headbands, but it looks like Etsy is a tough world with many vendors and competition, but it's so much fun creating such cute girly hair goods! Still haven't got the name down right, but for now it's called Miss Cutie Patootie!
