I finally got to taking a picture of the awesome quilt Patti(step mom for those that don't know who she is) made for Kaileo. This isn't the only one she's made for us either. She made one for Nainoa when he was born and she also made a Hawaiian print one for Jonathan and me. It came with matching shams, and pillow cases wow! I'm not sure where she finds the time to make these b/c I know they can be very time consuming. She also made one for Nainoa and I know that took forever. On Nainoa's quilt it has little Woodie cars that are made up of different pieces of fabric that she had to cut out and sew together. The other side of the boys quilts are super soft minkee fabric. We really enoy our quilts and am so glad that Kaileo got one of his own! yay! My sister made one too for Nainoa that is a western themed one really cute I use that one during nap time. These are definitely things that money can't buy and will be cherished forever! Thanks Michelle and thanks Patti for making these.

Nainoa with the quilt my sister made for him so darn cute! Hard to see, but it's a western themed quilt.
Nainoa and friends on our Hawaiian themed quilt also made by Patti. What can I say we are spoiled! ;)
Here's Kaileo's new quilt. It pretty much matches Nainoa's except Kai's has stars and his named spelled out instead of the Woodie cars. I just couldn't get the lighting right so the colors are kind of washed out sorry.
Hey, I only see pictures of Nainoa on the quilts, where's Kaileo???
ReplyDeleteBy the way those are truely beautiful quilts, I'm sure it's taken many years of practice. Kaileo's quilt is very beautiful, I love the way his name is displayed on it. Cute pictures too.
