Trick-or-Treat!

Wild Indians, a Cowboy and a Pumpkin

So Halloween night was fun and probably would have been better if I wasn't sick. I had a cold and I could hardly function and tried really hard to have a good time. Usually there isn't much happening on Halloween so we've been spending Halloween at my Dad and Step mom's house every year. It's been great to hang out with them and see what creative addition my dad has made to his Halloween decor. This year there was lots happening. The city of Brea had there first Annual Halloween Party for the kids with free pony rides, jump house, live music, rock wall climbing and lots more fun things. We did go there b/c we had already told my Mil's neighor we were coming over for the parade and then to my Dad's house. Little did we know how busy the neighborhood would be with tons of kids trick-or-treating! Wow I've never seen such turn out like this before. Lots of people were camped out on their drive ways with lights, chairs, and tables all decorated. Some of the people even managed to have haunted houses! Way cool! I would have taken more pictures, but again I felt pretty crummy. We sort of had a theme going this year. I hope we can get do something fun as a family (maybe Disney themed costumes) Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure. Let me warn you we look dorky lol!

Some of my Mil's neighor's decorations.

Nainoa making his way to his first door at Nana's for some goodies! She had all sorts of great things for the little ones! She had play doh, candy, and toys oh joy!

Outside my mil's house with the neighbors.

Hanging out at my dad and step mom's house. My sister came over on her break from Brea P.D. to join us for a bit. Thanks Michelle it was nice seeing you.

I didn't get a picture of my brother and his friends, but this is what they were wearing (very creative guys). This picture is from last year and brother spentHalloween in Iraq and it's nice to have him safe at home.
