It was such a mad house today at Disneyland and at least 80 degrees I was sweating so much just wearing jeans and a short sleeve shirt. It really felt like summer time with the crowd and hot weather. Turns out the place was a mad house b/c it's spring break for some folks. We decided to stay b/c we were there and thought we'd make the best out of a hot, crowded day at Disneyland. Nainoa had a few meltdowns, but I just ignored it. Plus I figured how many people are in other places of the world freezing their butt off wishing they had awesome Southern California weather like this! I'm still tweaking and learning to use Jonathan's dad's camera, but here is what I got using it today with my canon 50mm 1.8 lens. I'm no expert and don't really know what I'm doing really it's all under full manual mode. I had to set both the aperture and speed. I have been using the camera in auto mode( green box) but was having exposure issues. Lots of my pictures were either underexposed (too dark) or overexposed (too light) so I thought I'd try some modes aside from the green box. I guess you can say it's nice to think outside the green box! lol! Trying different modes and tweaking speed and aperture is kind of fun!
I love my 50mm lens for Disney because it's small and light, but man, I really have to stand F-A-R back to capture the whole scene! lol
