Wednesday I took the boys to South Coast Plaza alone to visit the Easter Bunny. It was as expected Nainoa looked the every where but the camera while I jumped, shouted, and danced around like a maniac to try and get his attention. Kai decided to look who was holding him and freaked out when he saw the bunny. I had to pick the best picture out of a bunch of Nainoa looking away from the camera and those with Kaileo not crying. Not much to chose from and we tried two rounds of pictures with the Easter bunny. Oh well that's what memories are about right!?! It's about the not so perfect pictures that will be the talk for years to come or those that will be remembered the most. So in the picture Nainoa is making a funny monkey face while Kaileo is looking at the camera for about a second before he turns and see that this big and fluffy thing is holding him. Today we decided to go to Irvine Park and do the Easter Egg hunt. I've been meaning to take the boys, but haven't until today. It was fun, but very crowded. We took the train ride, took funny pictures, and then went over to the 12:30 p.m. egg hunt. Nainoa was nice enough to share one of his eggs with Kaileo. Kaileo really enjoyed playing and shaking the egg oh and sucking on (I know yuck, but it beats him screaming b/c I took it out of his mouth). It's all about picking your battles or the ones you have energy to deal with really.
Oh the boys look so cute!!! I could remember those days with my girls. Well it looks like Nainoa had a good time, he also looks so cute in his conductor hat and then Kai sitting next the painted yellow chick, just adorable. Hey I kind of think Nainoa looks a little bit like Jason when he was little.
Lucy I really liked the e-mail/blog you had a few weeks ago in reference to the old man and the coca cola commercial? For some reason I couldn't log on and respond to it, I did attempt it twice. The message was pretty strong, even at his age of one-hundred and two, what he didn't like about life is that "life is too short", and his message to the newborn baby was pretty much to stop at nothing and to not wast time fretting about things that are not important or cannot be changed, pursue what makes you happy. Wow and guess what I'm taking that to heart! Yeap!
So what else is new with you and the boys? I was so happy to hear about Nainoa's dental procedure going so well, I was thinking about you guys on the Tuesday, couldn't have been easy that's for sure.
How was your Easter? We had a pretty good time, I had told the girls that no matter what, I was planning a Bar B-Que on Sunday, and it turned out really nice.
Okay well I better go now, I have to take a shower and start getting ready for tomorrow.
Give the boys a hug and a kiss for me, talk to you later.
All pix are too cute!
