A fun day at the zoo with Nana and cousin Emily

Wednesday the boys and I took a trip to the Santa Ana Zoo with my mother-in-law and niece Emily. It was a hot day to go and the main attraction (Elephant) wasn't there. They had a few monkeys, a leopard, pig, horse, llamas and a few other animals, but nothing too exciting. Nainoa loved the train ride (go figure LOL) and the carousel. Kai loved the train ride too, but got fussy only b/c he wanted to do his own exploring on his hands and knees. Kaileo is still crawling and there was no way I was going to let him crawl on the dirt and little bitty rocks. When we had seen and done it all so we headed back home and stopped my McDonald's for lunch. It was nice to be able to spend some time with my mother-in-law and my niece Emily. We all tend to have such busy schedules that something like this was a treat!
