Jonathan's knee is doing fine

Jonathan had knee surgery on Thursday and he's doing fine! It was totally stressful b/c Kai would not take abottle of expressed milk. We tried for a few weeks off and on, but he refused to take a bottle and wanted milk straight from the source!lol! My mom was going to watch the baby and Nainoa was going to Nana's house, but I couldn't bear to leave the baby behind knowing he would not take a bottle. So I ended up taking him with us to the hospital. I know it's a scary place to take a little one, but it worked out well. We go there checked Jonathan in then we left for a few hours while Jonathan had surgery. Jonathan suggested we leave and not hang around the hospital with all the germs and what not that are in hospitals. he suggested going to the mall for a few hours and so I went with the baby. I have to admit it was hard going anywhere I was so worried and stressed about Jonathan having this procedure done on his knee. We weren't sure if he'd have just the arthoscopic part or they would have to open up his knee. Luckily the didn't have to open up his knee. He was given crutches, but his hasn't used them much and doing well without taking vicodin (sp).
