The truth aboout Santa Pictures

I wasn't going to take the boys over to South Coast Plaza to get Santa photos, but decided to take them since this is busy month for us with the Holidays and our move. I some how found the strength to get these boys dressed, packed in the car, and drive over to see Santa. Normally we make our visit before Thanksgiving, but now that we have two kiddos it makes it 2 times for difficult to get things done. Anyway, as I'm driving down to the South Coast and Nainoa and I are singing every Christmas song that comes on the radio visions of great photos of the boys go through my head. Once we get there reality struck watching Nainoa all smiles with Santa and Kai screaming. We tried everything we could to get Kai to smile. I gave Kai a candy cane that he broke in half the second I gave it to him. If you look close you can see the poor broken candy cane LOL! The truth about Santa pictures is that it is rare to get one with the all the kids smiling. There's always one looking away, not smiling (screaming) and trying to get out of the Santa's lap. Oh well I ended up not buying the photo there and paid $7.00 to use my own camera and take the photos. The good part about it was we got free train ride tickets like we always do each year we've come to visit Santa. Nainoa loved talking with Santa this year and I hope Kai will too next year. Some are dreaming of a white Christmas. I'm dreaming of a photo of two smiling boys with Santa next year!
