I'm so proud words cannot describe how I feel about my cousin Shayla. She graduated this past Thursday from the Police Academy! I've been counting the months, days, hours, minutes and seconds ever since she told me she was going into the academy. The day finally came and I couldn't wait to see my cousin graduate and help celebrate her big accomplishement. Our family and friends met at Fullerton Junior College to attend the graduation ceremony. There were of course more male officers there than female. I'm still full of so much joy and happiness for my cousin and what the future will bring her way! My sister is currently in the academy so we hope to be at another Police Academy graduation by early next year!
